100% of member donations received (after transaction costs) will be granted to the following nonprofit programs until each grant goal is met. Member donations will be split equally between current projects and new partner projects will be added as grants are fully funded.

Democratic Republic of the Congo is one of the largest countries in Africa with a population of 75 million and the 9th highest child mortality rates in the world. In 2015, more than 300,000 children under the age of five died in DRC alone. Niger ranks dead last in the UN Human Development Index. In addition to its economic struggles, 89% of its population (18 million people) lack access to adequate sanitation and 51% (10 million people) lack access to safe drinking water. West Africa is plagued by deep poverty, severe agricultural challenges and some of the most dire health statistics in the world. Oxfam works in six countries across the region: Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Senegal, The Gambia and Ghana. Program Designation: Maternal & Child Health Programs

Focus Areas: Maternal & Newborn Health, Midwife Training & Support, Emergency Obstetric Care, Fistula Repair & Prevention, Cancer Screening, Medical Equipment, Community Capacity Building

Current Grant Goal: $25,000   Amount Given: $23,558 (as of 3/31/17)

Direct Relief's humanitarian health efforts place particular emphasis on protecting mothers and newborns by training and equipping midwives, increasing access to emergency obstetric care and supporting obstetric fistula repair. Program Designation: Southeast Asia Fund

Focus Areas: Sex Trafficking, Sexual Violence, Citizenship Rights, Legal Protection, Perpetrator Accountability, Survivor Aftercare

IJM works throughout Southeast Asia to bring rescue and relief to women and children who are victims of sexual violence and human trafficking. Through its field offices in Thailand, the Philippines, and Cambodia, IJM staff work with local governments to ensure anti-trafficking law enforcement and perpetrator accountability.
