who we are

1% for Humanity operated as registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the state of MN from 2008-2022. We remained a small, grassroots organization with zero paid employees. 

Our mission was to inspire and promote increased humanitarian giving to nonprofits fighting extreme poverty and injustice in the world's poorest communities. More about our purpose and history can be found at our Why? and History Pages.
